Hi Tom,

Thanks for sharing your recent creative efforts. Hi Tor is great. I especially liked your shots up close of the waterfall. And I took another look at Chimney Bluffs... great places, close by, and often overlooked...

Interesting pictures. The water almost looks like a coating of ice over the rocks. I like how the water appears to be standing still even though you know it is not. I have spent some time in the high tor area mostly up on high ground near the crystal clear ponds. I have not been to the creek beds where you photographed. Another nice area close to home. I look forward to seeing photos of & hearing about new zealand. Joe

Can I just say...you are the ultimate digital photography genius. The stuff you do is so original and just down right artsy. I mean artsy in a good way, not artsy fartsy or anything, but like true total art in a pure talented art dude way. You should be in a museum. I mean your artsy stuff should be in a museum. You know why, because Tommy don't crop, man! Just plain old good shooting from the git go, no need to crop perfection! Right! You rock so much that my head spins. Ok then, Your greatest fan ever (next to you, that is)

Ahh, so many beautiful images to choose from... I'm thinking about having a relief wood carving made for the inset in the brick on my fireplace and would like to use one of your Adirondack or West photos for inspiration. Perhaps one from our 2006 trip to Zion!

Tommy, As usual your willingness to see in the STRONGEST way inspires me... especially the dry pebbles arranged by stream, and the Circular Water reflection that excites as it puzzles.
Keep it up DUDE!

Gee Tom - I guess its been a while since I visited your site. The Utah galleries are always my favorites - these photos look fake - they are so amazing and the color is so vivid. Also loved the photos after the rain storm - they were very cool. Laughed at your Johnny Depp comment and loved your creativity in the NYC images. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Hey Robin, Anybody who openly solicates opinions of their work must accept that all opinions count. Just because somebody doesn't like your work doesn't mean that they are trying to "best" you. It is in no way ignornant nor uninformed if you think Tom's photography resembles stock photography or is trite and boring. It is somebody's opinion, just as meaningless as yours, and all the other folks who take the time to comment.

Your work is wonderful. Those individuals who can not tell the difference between stock photos and this exquisite art have no eye for art. Criticism from the ignorant and uninformed is often the only way they have of feeling they have "bested" you. It is a way of life- their opinion does not really count anyway.

Why did you change your Clickshot to Ifotoz? And why do you have a TM on Ifotoz? Just an idea to make your life simple. Stop using the TM mark on your photo gallery pages. Nobody really cares, and it doesn't make the name sound any better. Plus, Ifotoz isn't even original, do an web-search on it, it has been used before. How about you just call your gallery....ahhh...."gallery".
huh?

Well Tom, considering the quality of the photos in your galleries, you sure lowered your standards in selecting the photograph of yourself. All kidding aside, it gives me great joy that you used a shot taken by yours truly. That was a great shooting day and I hope that we may have another one soon. This site seems, at first blush, to be easier to navigate (not to mention shop at!) than the prior version. Good on Ya! Tom D.

Tom, loved seeng the migrant farmer photos again after so many years. They remain moving and relevant. Just a note to "Stan" on the CLICKSHOT issue. You are confused. Anyone can use the TM next to a mark used to identify the source of goods and services. Federal or state registration is NOT required. You need federal registration to use (R). Trademark ownership rights are based on who is first to use the mark on goods or services in commerce. Suggest you go to the site http://www.inta.org/info/faqsD.html#1 and learn the basics.

"Portfolio Tip: Credit all work used that is not your own." -from your Website Just wondering how you justify putting a TM sign on clickshot? Does it matter that you have not legally registered "clickshot" or that there is a major design firm that has the same name? Did you just put the TM on Clickshot to be cool? Or do you actually think that you thought of it first?

Just wanted to add a few general comments about your photography, specifically the Ireland shots. The composition, depth of field and passion for outdoor photography comes through loud and clear. What I really appreciate is how you master natural lighting. You manage to mine for just a sliver of light to make incredible photos. There are few photographers that can be called "Light Masters", but your work is on that elevated level. Thanks for sharing work.

Seems like your notebook is so full of light fluffy praise, so I guess I should be the one to level some critical blows. My biggest problem is that you seem to be really paranoid about somebody stealing your images. Expecting somebody to download a plug in just so they can view your stuff is kind of arrogant. The lengths you go to protect your work are really not necessary. I mean, come on, you even protected the images of Mrs. Hopkins' Grade 3. Also, there are too many images. You need to learn how to edit. Instead of dumping a whole set of similar images, have the guts to pick the best one for us. You do have a few nice shots but they get buried in all the mediocre ones. Minor knitpick: Get rid of the clip art, they cheapen the site and make you look even more like a hack. You are trying to be artistic but the design of your site is very....what is the word I am looking for....industrial?....flat?....lame? Also, too many copyright notes...we get it. we get it. Sorry if this comment is harsh, but after if you feel bad, just read all the good stuff everyone has written and you will feel warm and fuzzy.
brutally honest

Wow, your new pictures are wonderful. A dream. I wish I could say, explain and use exactly my words which I have in my head. But I can not translate it and it would be diffrent. Well, than in german: Deine Bilder sind der absolute Traum. Einfach traumhaft schoen. A small cut in german about what's going on in my head when I saw the wave. Thanks for sharing, Ria

Oh my gosh! A perfect metaphor... similie perhaps!? (Too long it's been since I've taken a proper English class!) As usual, your knack of capturing such life in nature astonishes me. Of course, the "lit" ones melt my eyes... how did we miss this!?! I take extraordinary pleasure in seeing THE slot of all slots, shot as only you can do it! And bravo for your continual pushing of the digital envelope... I would never have guessed. Your Nikon is treating me well, although I must admit I haven't properly taken enough pictures worthy of artistic praise... but that's a personal crime against my inner art child! The Wave has inspired me to seek out the mystical marvels around me, whether I travel far to see them or not, and you better bet I'll have proof in pixels of my ventures! Thanks for the show! Keep up the eye-popping!

these pictures are great! definitely would have captivated me to follow a computer graphics career in '95, (not that the tools you gave me then didn't already do that.) it's nice to see space_balls3 within the context of the others -- makes the print in my home part of a family of cool CG. tapestry, bluesky3cy1, and shadow are my favorites, but they each have fun, experimental, and unique qualities. even the texturescapes like land_of_gold suck me in -- I love the crystal-clear, other-worldly, surreal, digital perfection. fractal is absolutely delicious, as well -- how'd you do that!? this gallery makes me want to bust-out and make desktop pictures again (a former hobby of mine in which I used all the fun tools in my software arsenal to make pictures after school, instead of doing homework). thanks for sharing, tom!

Thank you for putting these on the web for all to see! Your documenting of the Atkinson house is just amazing. How did you light those panoramas? I can poke around in each photo and find new things time after time.

Tommy, this is wonderful!! I've enjoyed every bit of it. It's so nice to be able to enjoy your incredible work any time I want to. Now, where are the order forms? I've got my eye on a specific one for my nook! Love and best wishes. . . your little sister.

Wonderful eye candy! The quality of the Just Flowers and Arizona images were so sensuous, I wanted to touch them.

Lots of great pictures, but who is the guy in the ugly pink jacket at your millenium banquet?

To much to digest in one sitting! I need to either spend a lot more time on your Arizona page, or go there with you. (or both) Phil

Impressive site, Tom. Just better hope the authorities don't come across Monkey's Dream... you might be confused for a child pornographer. WE know this is art! Love, US
